94 Jeb Dunnuck, The Wine Advocate (December 2013)
Also inky colored, full-bodied and seriously rich, the 2011 Hermitage boasts knockout aromas and flavors of blueberry, creme de cassis, plum pit, scorched earth and crushed rock. Dense, concentrated, yet also voluptuously textured, with sweet tannin and notable freshness and purity, it will have an easy 12-15 years of longevity.
92 Josh Raynolds, Vinous (March 2014)
Inky ruby. Blackberry, boysenberry, violet and licorice on the deeply perfumed nose and palate. Shows a suave blend of power and vivacity, with a smoky nuance coming up on the back half. Closes spicy and very long, leaving sweet dark fruit liqueur and floral notes behind.
